i keep hearing all the benefits green tea can have on your body. does it have to be the green tea that you brew yourself from a tea bag or can i buy bottled green tea (such as diet lipton green tea) and still gain the same benefits.

I brew my own and for health reasons not taste reasons I've learned to like it unsweet. brewing tea is easy, I bought a $7 tea pot(just like the song) and brew it up, takes a few minutes. Plus if you sing the "I'm a little tea pot" song and do the motions you burn calories while brewing tea, genius huh?

I've seen adds for Ultra Green Tea Lean online for months, so I'm thinking of trying it. However, I'm leary of buying it online, and scared that it has extra additives that aren't totally healthy. My question is- would it be just as affective to drink regular green tea? I want to lose weight, but I don't care about whether or not it gives you energy, etc. Can you recommend any green tea products that I can buy in stores? Or should I drink normal green tea? Or is Ultra… the only way to go?

Better find original Chinese Green tea, not Lipton. Green tea is very good for the digestion. Many diets include Green tea (like Colored diet).

It depends on what you are looking for. Extract is highly concentrated green tea, so it is better for you in respect to the benefits green tea would give you. Green tea itself is also good for you, but takes more to get the same herbal benefits. It does give you much needed hydration and provides a very healthy fluid for your body.

I was going to try fat burners but I'm 16 and someone told me in another question that fat burners werent healthy and to try green tea pill.

So have you or anyone you know used green tea pills, and did they work?
I would also appreciate if U know to tell me how they work?

Is it true that drinking at least one cup of green tea raises your metabolism and helps you with weight loss?

Im not so sure, but i can tell you that i drank it everyday last year for breakfast with toast, or cereal and fruit. I lost some belly weight and felt pretty upbeat.

The brand I buy says "naturally decaffeinated using only water". Could someone explain this process and explain why it's good?bad? Does it strip away the anti-oxidants?

I don't think it effects the tea at all. You should try Adagio Teas on the internet, they have different flavors of green tea and it is all great. You can order a sample for $2 and try it out before you buy a lot. It is loose tea, not tea bags. I don't like green teas, I get the black teas and they are wonderful. I bought a Personalitea Pot from there and I love it. Only $9 dollars and it makes 3 cups of tea. They also have herb teas and the Roobios which are great red teas naturally decaffienated.
