Where can I buy high quality green tea?
23.November, 2008
My mother drinks green tea and i wanted to get her some for her birthday. I was recently traveling in Japan and China, where bought her very good tea. But she is running out. Is there a place where I can buy a "Top Shelf" green tea. I live out side of Columbus, Ohio. Are there any websites where I can purchase it and have it shipped, or any local stores?
Thanks
teavana.com is a great website. they also have retail stores which carry accessories. a girlfriend of mine always ships me tea from this site and it's fresh every time it arrives.

and what is it used for in the green tea?
It refers to the shape of the tea leaves. They're rolled up like little pellets or 'gun shot'.

What is the most healthy way to brew green tea?
05.November, 2008
I bought some green tea from an Asian store but the writing on the box is in Japanese.
1. Use filter (i.e. Swiss Gold infuser)
2. Place approx. a teaspoon of green tea leaves inside.
Be sure to leave enough room for the leaves to expand
as this releases the tea's flavor.
3. Use filtered and/or spring water and bring to 185
degrees. DO NOT BOIL.
4. Add water to leaves and steep two to three minutes.
5. Pour and enjoy!
Note: Some green teas you can infuse (add water) several times. Experiment and enjoy the process.
