i know its healthy to lose about 2 pounds a week, but if i take green tea extract pills along with a low calorie diet and about 40 - 80 minutes of exercise, would it help me lose more weight faster?
i'm a 17 year old female, 5'5", and about 130lbs.
i know 130lbs for my height and age has a healthy
bmi, but i do not feel comfortable at this weight. i'm
aiming for 120lbs.
i know its better to drink green tea itself, but i can't stand the taste even with some sugar or sweetener added.
Skip the tea (pill form or liquid) as it doesn't really do much of anything for you. It especially won't help you lose weight.
As to losing weight:
Eat less.
Exercise more.
It's that simple. Don't fall for the silliness like magic tea pills, etc. The only thing you'll lose is money.

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com -
Good luck and stay focused = )

Green tea pills for weight loss?
17.December, 2008
I am dieting and exercising, but I need a little help. I’ve heard green tea pills help.
If not, what are some natural safe pills to take. I’ve taken diet pills before, but I don’t want to take anything that isn’t at least a little natural.
Slimming pills and teas do not help to lose weight effectively in the long term. The use of slimming products may lead to rapid weight loss initially. By and large, many slimming products contain substances that suppress the appetite, stimulate metabolism or induce drastic water loss from the body.
It is not safe to use these products without adequate medical supervision. Moreover, slimming products are usually expensive and do not help change the overweight individual eating and exercise habits, which are the root causes of weight gain. This makes the maintenance of weight loss difficult.

What do you think about Green Tea Pills?
13.December, 2008
Do you think they are the same as diet pills, better, worse?
Green tea or even pills hit the metabolism to a certain degree only.
Diet pills depending on some, works much better than green tea or in pill form.
I drink close to 6 cups of green tea daily, and 1 to 2 green tea pill before bed (make sure the caffeine are low or else sleeping may be disrupted)
Most pills work, some companies may inflate their statements like 600% stronger than (x) but it is all hooplah and what not.
Best bet is to do some research on a product online and see if people are getting results on a specific product. I go on a workout forum and they will usually carry a lot of detailed info.
And before you try anything, you 1st have to test your tolerance to a supplement. Some people may react differently bad or good to different compounds.

An hour of good honest exercise every other day will be infinitely more effective than a weeks worth of pill popping.
Forget about looking for magic wands and lazy options.

ANYONE iN HERE TRiED GREEN TEA DiET PiLL??
09.December, 2008
OKAY, i HEARD THAT iT REALLY MAKES YOU LOSE WAiT AND i WANNA TRY iT. SO ANYONE THAT HAD TRiED iT, GiVE ME DETAiLS. i AM 144LBS. i WANT TO GO BACK TO 110LBS. SO i NEED HELP!!
NO diet pills really work. Read the labels carefully…they ALL say the same thing. Something along the lines of "if you take this pill with a calorie-reduced diet and regular exercise, you MAY lose weight." Even the so-called natural ones carry dangers with them that are not worth it.
You must have the calorie-reduced diet and exercise, and those two things will be just as effective, if not MORE effective if you don't have the weird chemicals in diets pills coursing through your system, causing heart, kidney, and liver problems. At best, the pills are a waste of money. At worst, you can suffer really awful health problems.
There's only one safe way to lose weight effectively, and that is to eat a LITTLE less (by 200-400 calories) than the amount of calories you need to use in a day. If you eat too much less, you body goes into fat storage mode, and your attempts at starving yourself will backfire, as you will get fat quickly again when you start eating again.

Go to weight watchers if you really want an effective way to lose weight and keep it off.

ok there are these diet pills at CVS Pharmacy that are supposed to make u burn fat quick and loose calories quick too…do they work? b/c they are like only $15.00. and if i stop using them will i get like really fat, and back to my original wieght? i weight 144 pounds and 5' 1.5" and i want to loose just 15-20 pounds (just some extra baggage) and the package says loose 20 pounds!! so i dont know what to do…or wheater i should use them or not! HELP!
First of all there are no good diet pills, diet pills cause health issues.
second with any diet pills you must follow a food plan, less calories intake and exercies,
Third you can lose weight without making your self unhealthy
Start each day with a healthy breakfast, healthy snacks in between meals, drink 64 ounces of water daily.
Fourth: become familiar with what a serving size is for each food you eat, buy a food scale to weigh your foods such as chicken some meals state eat 4-6 ounces, it is hard to determine how many ounces you are eating without weighing the item.
Just make healthy choices in the foods you eat, learn portion control. Learn what a serving size is.
Remember: don't go out to eat at a "ALL YOU CAN EAT" restaurant and eat all you can eat, there is always tomorrow, we have 365 days to eat so we don't need to eat it all in one day.
Write down what you eat.
Exercise.
A good healthy weightloss consist of 2-3 pounds per week.
DO NOT TAKE DIET PILLS OF ANY TYPE! PLEASE!

Green tea with Diet pill?
05.December, 2008
I have just purchased NV Diet pill and im thinking to drink green tea with that. I usually drink 5 cups of green tea daily.
Is it going to effect my diet pill?? since green tea removes all toxins from body??
Appreciate your answers thanks.
It depends on what is in the diet pill. Also green tea does not remove the toxins. It has potent antioxidants that help neutralize the toxins. It is also good as a metabolic booster. It does this by increasing the amount of norepinephine in the blood. The norepi then binds to fat cells and releases the fat.

We all know diet and excersize is the best, but what if that just doesnt seem to work? Do these products work, does anything?
I have been on Alli for a little over a month and so far lost 13lbs.
Alli is a program though that needs to be followed to the letter though to avoid any nasty side effects, so far I haven't had any of them.
