I want to lose 20 pounds of fat by June 22nd, I'm a guy, 19 years old, 6'2" tall, medium frame, 249 pounds. I do an hour on a stationary bike everyday, plus I got a bowflex, and I do bicep and tricep weight lifting with free weights.

I've been eating mostly salad, skinless chicken breast, and spicy pinto beans. I drink nothing, but water and unsweetened iced tea. However, I hit plateau, I lose 70 pounds in about six months, and now I'm finding this last 20 to 30 I want to lose is ridiculously hard. How can I break this plateau, I added 15 minutes on the stationary bike, and been taking green tea fat burner pills everyday now to "help"

Sounds like you are doing great on your diet, if anything maybe you need a few extra calories to boost up your energy and help your metabolism out. If you are working out, you need to be getting at least 1800.

Also one of the main reasons for weight loss plateau is that your body has become accustomed to your work-out routine, change it up….switch to another piece of cardio equipment just to give your muscles a shock…or really put on the intensity level on your bike.

A key to know if you are lifting enough weight to challenge your muscles is when you do a set, you should not be able to do more than 12 reps….my professor told us that 10 is a good number to be worn our by. If you get to 12 and feel like you can keep on lifting, that means it is time to add weight.

So there you go, add a few more calories and change up your work-out routine…. I do an hour of cardio as well and when I tend to hit a peak, I will change up my cardio by doing 15 minutes of four different pieces of equipment… if you are not at the gym….at home you can do jump ropes, high kicks, run, walk.

Good Luck!!

I'm on birth control (Lutera) but just recently I started taking diet pills (Green Tea Fat Burner) too. Is this safe? Could I be doing my body harm?

I have lost a little bit of weight, but maybe that's just because I'm not eating as much as I was before. But are there any health risks involved?

i'm not sure about how your weigh loss pills are potentially interfering with your birth control, but you shouldn't be taking weight loss pills with out consent from a health care professional. most of those things are a huge waste of money, and not FDA approved. you could be doing your body extensive damage. please, call your doctor and talk about it.

Yup

1.. should the water be really hot/boiling? Coz if its not boiling, the extract wont come out, correct?

2. if i use my green tea teabag, say, this morning, can i keep it for later use? coz sme articles say to drink 2 or 3 cups a day, and i dont want to waste 2 or 3 teabags in just one day lol

3. lastly, becoz green tea is good for burning fat, when should i drink it? just for snack time/ during a meal/ or it doesnt matter?

4. For fat burner green tea, should it be consumed hot or cold?

thanks heaps!!!

1. Green & white teas are best brewed at 180 degrees F, which is just below the boiling point. At higher temperatures, and after about 5 minutes of steeping, the tea becomes very bitter. Most green teas should steep about 3-5 minutes. For weight loss, try steeping for about 5 minutes (the longer the tea steeps, more polyphenols are released).

2. Many people do re-use teabags or tea leaves. I tend not too, because I find the tea is less strong with subsequent brewings, but there's nothing wrong with using a tea bag a second time.

3 & 4. From the tea studies I've looked at, I don't recall anything about temperature or time of day having an effect. I say any time of day is a good time for a hot cup of tea. ;-) However, I would avoid commercially-produced green iced teas, as they contain high amounts of sugar and other preservatives.

Ive been on a diet for a long time, and im seeing little results…I exercise a lot…im 5'8 and 150lbs and 15 years old…I heard somewhere that drinking a lot of green tea and water without sugar flushes some fat out of your body…im also on a strickt diet. I need some help…any tips. Im also thinking about taking a diet pill…but a healthier one, like a green tea fat burner, but is there a better way to go? Eating healthy and exercise just isnt enough

I totally understand where you are coming from, but I have some bad news. There are no magic pills, no magic drinks, and no magic solutions. It is not healthy for your body to lose more than 2 or so pounds a week so it will take time if you are looking to lose a few pounds. I will tell you that I am 5'8 and also weigh 150lbs. I am not fat, I understand if you have a body like mine that you might want to tone it up a little bit, but you probably don't need to lose weight. One good way to reduce your fat is to eat less of it. Keep exercising because those two tricks are really the most effective. Taking diet pills can mess with your body - physically and mentally. And, you are more likely to put the weight back on. Be really careful about taking any kind of pills. Beside you are only 15, so you should be talking to your parents before doing anything like that. Maybe they can get you a gym membership or something instead. Losing weight takes time, but it seems like you are the perfect weight for you height!

Liquid soft-gel greeb tea fat burner with maxium strength EGCG. That’s what it says on the bottle. Ever tried it? Does it work?
I do eat right and i exercise ALOT! and i just cant seem to lose weight. Im 120 lbs right now but i wanna be 115 lbs. JUST 5 LBS THAT WONT COME OFF lol. Tips?

Why should you even think of this?!!?
What ever happened to eating right and exercising?

Im sorry if you don't like this news but the body NEEDS to be physically active. Don't think of how many calories you are going to burn since that kills the fun in sports or any activity. You anticipate the end and not the now of the activity. Out of all things there are I would not suggest walking. It's great but you would want to do it with someone to make it social. Why not play some sports? Any sport out there will get you physically fit. If you go into archery or curling then you are just cheating yourself. Have a husband? Do something with him! Go dirt biking! Run with him. Race him. There is so much to do. Play soccer! Ski!
you won't be good at the start but over a little while you will become an athlete.

the combination of those two i believe are making me only feel hungry in the evening. My one meal is pretty big however. is this a healthy and good way to lose weight. I wanna lose like 25 lbs. I am currently 19 yrs, 6 ft 225 lb male.

no , you need more than one meal a day or you will become sick. you need a balanced diet and exercise. for instance you could eat as much fruit as you wanted all day every day and would never put on weight as its very low in fat.if you eat fruit and veg and meat and avoid fizzy drinks and fast food and alchohol youl lose weight .

Try it and see what happens if you already bought it!

With any weight loss product, you have to eat healthy and exercise, otherwise its not going to work. They're called supplements for a reason.

I've used Power Tea and it works very well
