No, but my husband does (with citrus). He's diabetic so has to have diet. I can taste the sweetener in diet drinks, but I like the regular Lipton Green Tea.

Tea in general is good for you because its a calorie free liquid and with it being diet the sugar is fake sugar like a splenda. Drinking this and water instead of drinking alot of sodas, juice, milk can help you lose weight. Green tea is also good for your health. It kills some toxins, it reduces risks of cancer, helps maintain good blood pressure and cholesterol, and it even slows the aging process. It does alot of good for you!

Green tea has loads of caffiene in it. I think the diet version substitutes sugar with aspartame or something, but I think it would still have caffeine in it.

a frind told me there is an ingredient in this tea that helps with hot flashes has anyone experiened this? I have tried this tea and I like it maybe I shuold buy more

I know green tea helps with inflammation. Not sure if that would affect hot flashes, but if it helps you then go for it. I think if you try decaf green tea, it would be more effective. (caffeine can trigger hot flashes)

Ok, Im like addicted to bottled diet lipton green tea, i cant help it, i drink like 3 or 4 bottles a day, and theyre the 16 oz ones. i was just wondering if there is anything unhealthy or bad about them, since i drink so many. or is there anything really good about them?

Any diet drink will help you lose weight if you use it instead of full sugar drinks. But lipton green tea does contain a type of flavonoid antioxidants called catechins. (Surpisingly the level of antioxidants in a bottle of lipton green iced tea is the same as in an average cup of hot green tea that you brew yourself from a teabag.) There are many health benefits associated with green tea catechins but you may be particularly interested in recent research that suggests green tea catechins may increase fat-burning metabolism. It seems to be particularly effective with visceral fat (ie fat around the abdomen and waist). In fact I believe Lipton has just launched a product in Europe with double the level of catechins that is marketed as a slimming tea.

I'm trying to lose weight, and I'm not sure all the sodium will help me do that. But isn't green tea really good for you? I don't know, help!

Sodium is not all that unhealthy so long as you don't exceed the recommended daily allowance. I love that Lipton green tea as well. As far as weight in regards to sodium, sodium does make you retain water weight. Body builders usually cut sodium out completely 3 wks before a show to help shed those last few pounds of water weight. If you are going to the beach or have a specific date in mind you might try this. For the long term keeping your sodium intake extremely low is just to hard and unhealthy. You should be fine, your body actually needs sodium.

for a commercial green tea Lipton is good compared to other commercial brand …what other non name brands…it gets kind of iffy..do you have a good health food store with a good reputation by you?
