Are they just as healthy and good for weight loss?

yes, they are both healthy and great for you! Its probably good for weight loss to because it makes you pee and lots of anti-oxidants.

Are you referring to bottled tea or the tea bags? If you're talking about brewing a cup of tea with a Lipton green tea bag, there should be instructions on the box. I like my tea strong, so I use about 6 ounces of water, or I use more water and 2 tea bags (especially if I'm going to pour it over ice to make it cold).

I think the song is originally from the 1950's or early 60's.

I drink this almost every day. What does this help you with? Skin? Heart? Hair? Nails? Also, What are the downsides of drinking this? Should I continue drinking it everyday?

I don't know but it sure is good, I drink the diet all the time

Other than the fact that I burn through a lot of toilet paper, is there any harmful side effects from drinking too much green tea? (Lipton’s, of course, usually with the berries or citrus) I’m talking about one gallon per day. I must admit, I have become quite addicted to the drink, and the only thing prying me from the addiction is becoming my rear’s addiction to the toilet seat. Thanks!

As in Diarreah? Or just regular feces. You may have intestinal problems. But it might be the citrus. Try taking a break from it for awhile, or even a different brand.

generally, tea bags green tea, does it have caffien?

Yes it does. Unless it says decaf, teas will almost always be caffienated(naturally). I have to admit that stuff tastes pretty darn good(because of all that sugar though)…….

I am not a huge water person, I would much rather the diet lipton green tea. Anyone heard any negative effects this may have on me or my baby?
The bottle does not say whether or not it contains caffiene.

artificial sweeteners (even the beloved Splenda… *shiver*) is no good for you and your baby… it would be much better to try and down the water… or add a splash of fresh fruit juice to it to give you some variety.

if you want green tea, find the good stuff… the stuff you make yourself at home- and decaffeinating tea is relatively easy… steep it for about 45 seconds, pour out that water, then steep again for a few minutes… it will be about 99% decaf at that point… i am a tea FREAK and have friends who own and operate tea shops- this is where i got this info.

Anybody having problems with Lipton Green Tea with Citrus giving them loose bowel movements? My fiance has been drinking it nearly daily and has developed loose bowel movements. The nurse practitioner suggested taking a break from the tea, and its been 3 days and his b.m.'s have improved. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue, and if there is a reason behind it that you know of.

i have just started to drink it myself and have noticed that i am having bowell movements more often than before, but i wouldnt call them loose. however i wasnt real regular before and am becoming that way now so i would say it has some effect on the system.
