How effective is green tea as a weight loss aid?

I’m doing some research on diets and diet aids. So, people who have tried it: how did it work for you/what did it do to you? How much weight did you lose?
What about the tablets - are they any good?
I took green tea pills after my DD was born in 2005. I droped almost 15lbs within a month. With minor dieting and exercising of course. I just stopped bf’ing so I plan on getting back on it tomorrow. Just remember though that it is an AIDE to help you loose weight. You have to use it sensibly and diet & exercise along with it! Good luck!

green tea works just like plain water.
you drink it, it fills your stomach so you don’t feel as hungry, so you eat less.

OK I KNOW THIS IS GROSS BUT..
my friend told me if you put galic in your green tea it burns the fat and lowers your cholesterol
i lost 15 pounds from doing it with exersise for 2 months

green tea is a wonder drug
it speeds up your metabolism
I drink like 5 cups of it everyday
its AWESOME
but dont use it as an excuse to now eat junkfood cuz then it wont work

I’ve been drinking green tea 2 times a day (minimum) for 3 weeks. (I drink 12 ounces so each cup is two servings)
So far : nothing.
Thats all I know.
I’m gonna keep at it, I’ve heard we need 6-8 weeks of 3 servings a day to have an effect.

VERY effective - so long as you’re actually watching your caloric intake while using it! - to experiment for yourself, just try the same diet for a month without green tea, and then with….

it cleanses your body and detoxifys.. but u need exercise.. drink 2 cups per day…

Ya green tea is very effective for loosing weight.You must take it 3 cups in a day drink water as much as you can. There are some herbal pills use as well.
