Is green tea effective for weight loss?

Cause I’ve been drinking like half a gallon of it a day, and I’ve lost over ten pounds in the past week, and I know its not just water weight cause I can see where the fats gone away.
Yes, green tea has been shown as an effective weight loss agent to help you with weight loss. Is it the be all and end all solution? No.
Your already seeing some results that you mention in your question and that’s great but to gain the full benefits to drinking green tea along with weight loss goals is to add it to an exercise and diet program. This will help you take advantage of the results you are already seeing.

This diet really doesn’t work. You only lose water weight from this, if there is any other weight being lost, then it is from exercising and eating healthier. You will see this when you stop drinking green tea, you will likely gain every pound back. Long story short: NO DIET WORKS!

Green Tea is a good and proven anti-oxidant and has a fair amount of caffeine. The caffeine and diuretic properties of the tea can account for some weight loss and it does affect different people in different ways. It is relatively inexpensive so try it out and see if it works.
