Is it ok to still drink coffee while taking Green Tea Capsules?
08.January, 2009
Thanks guys.
Depends on how much coffee you drink per day.
There is caffeine in green tea extract capsules, but the recommended upper intake of coffee is 4 cups per day.
So if you're only drinking 1-2 cups of coffee per day with the capsules, it should be fine. If you feel like you're getting jittery or your heart is racing, stop drinking the coffee.

Yes. Green tea capsules shouldn't have much caffeine in them, if any. I know that the kind I took was caffeine free.

I used to take the caffeine free green tea pills and I would get really jittery after one cup of coffee but you may not. but definitely stop drinking the coffee if you feel like your heart is racing!

Generally speaking yes. It's hard to be accurate because there are different types of Green Tea capsules on the market but I don't see why it would be a problem. Just be aware that both are diuretics and that can cause problems (usually digestive gastric or colon) with some people so just watch for side effects. Generally though I'm sure you are ok. Green tea is very good for you, which I'm sure you know
Blessings to you…
