ok, after hearing some of ur comments, ive decided on this diet. i am 5'8" 200 lbs. my morning will consist of oatmeal and green tea, (maybe a bowl of cereal such as honey bunches of oats or cheerios, no sweetened, sugary cereals). then my lunch will consist of a glass of milk, lean meat such as chicken ( or a veggie burger), and salad. some times i might replace the chicken for some fruit. then, for dinner, i will have a large salad, no dressing. during this time, i will run 30 to 40 minutes a day with sprinting involved. is this a better plan? do any of you suggest anything that i can do because i want to avoid all fats and just get down to the essentials that i need so i can work and lose weight.
****thanks for the suggestions but just so you guys know, im a guy lol, curves isnt for me*****

that's a pretty good diet…you don't need to cut out all fats…some is still ok. you might want to throw in some snacks in between the meals so your body doesn't get hungry (which causes metabolism to slow down). maybe snack on power bars or something…maybe yogurt.

in your daily running, are you doing HIIT (high intensity interval training)? if yes, then that is good. if you don't know what it is, then it's basically sprinting for like 1 minute then jog lightly for 30 seconds to a minute…and repeat.

there's one HIIT training method that you might want to try…it takes maybe 20 mins max…. you start out with a warmup run maybe 4 minutes orso. you do 8 intervals of 20 seconds sprinting with 10 seconds rest. so this interval trianing should take 4 minutes. then follow up with a 3 minute cool down run. seems easy but try it…it's not as easy as it looks.

Weight Watchers. You eat normal food. Its a lifestyle, not a diet. I lost over 60lbs and still ate fast food every week. I loved it and its easy. VERY EASY!

It is actually better to have many small snacks or meals throughout the day…not just the three main times you are used to. This way your body gets used to constantly metablizing what's in your stomach. This way your metabolism doesn't get a break. Exercise every other day and count calories. Don't think of it as a 'Diet'. Think of it as a new way to live your life.

don't avoid any specific foods! doing this will undoubtedly sabotage your program. eat in moderation, reduce calories and control your portions. try to make healthier choices with complex carbs, lean protein and unsaturated fats-yes you NEED all three every day. incorporate some exercise too; be sure to combine cardio and strength training for the best results.
