I have severe acne problems— doctors and people help!
17.November, 2008
i have cystic acne. It is acne under the skin. and it creates bad scars. the doctor is retarded, and doesn’t even care. I can’t see a dermatoligist cause of money, and I have used MANY acne treatments. I have neutrogena, the wave, and acne systems like terminator, acne free, boil stuff, etc. But i have extremely sensitive skin, so I can’t use a lot of stuff. I think pro-active will be the same, and we can’t keep wasting money. I have red scars that are big on my face and nothing seems to rid it. I wash my face all the time, and take antibiotics, but it just seems like when I get one side healed it scars, and the oother side breaks out. HELP!!! It looks the worst under bright light, I dont want to go to school like this… Doctors help! any home remedies? Especially for scars? I don’t have the money to get laser surjury, and I know that the scars can go away somehow. I use stuff with green tea- is that good? I REALLY need GOOD advice, because a lot of people think I’m not clean. And I also have enlarged pores, Ice doesn’t help that much, any remedies for that? this whole thing started when I used a facial mask, any tips?
We don't have health insurance, because my mom is disabled, but she makes $40,000 per year, through someplace that gives her money (im really not sure where though) and she would have to pay 400.00 per month to cover it, because health insurances says that we make too much. And my dad doesn't live with me. But we can't really afford a lot of stuff, because of gas prices($50.00 to get our tank 0.5 full) so basically, we don't have anything to cover big bills. My mom had a lot of money because of a loane, but we used that money with stuff "and" some to help my face, but now we our getting tight on money. So we can't really buy that much more stuff, that would be why i'm looking for home remedies.
you should treated by deramatologist
Treatment
A doctor must treat cystic and nodulocystic acne. Powerful systemic medications are usually required. Acne of this severity can be hard to control. Don’t be discouraged if the first treatment attempt fails. It may take several tries to find the treatment or combination of treatments that work for you. Some common treatments for nodulocystic acne include:
Oral antibiotics
Accutane (isotretinoin) oral drug is taken twice aday for 16to20weeks
it is believed to markedly reduce the size of the oil glands so much less oil is produced so as aresult the growth pf p.acnes is decreases
it also reduces cell shedding and the stickness of cells in the follicles,
which help prevent the development of comedones
Oral contraceptives - for women
Surgical excision and drainage - A doctor makes a small incision in the skin and extracts the infected material.
Intralesional corticosteroid injections - Medication is injected directly into the lesion to reduce inflammation and shrink the blemish

If you can afford to spend all that money on all those treatments than you can afford to go for a minimum of one visit to a dermatologist. You need to see a specialist that can help you get treatment.

stay away from foods what are greasy and stay away from chocolate. they both make you break out.
also, DONT touch your face! it only makes it worse.
drinking green tea could help because it clears out toxins.
drink a lot of water.
ask this question in the alternative medicine — those people are really smart and a lot of them have degrees in alternative medicine.
good luck :]

i feel u…. i have bad acne. and by the looks of it u have nodular acne which is VERY hard to get ride of.i have tried EVERYTHING. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PROACVITV IT DOES NOT TREAT NODULAR ACNE(SEVERE ACNE) it sounds to me that your best bet would be accutane which is a pill you take once or twice a day depending on your weight and height. it inexpensive IF u have good insurance…without insurance your looking at 500 dollars with insurance your lookin at 50 but it is SOOOOOO worth it. its the only thing that works with nodular acne….I HOPE I HELPED
o p.s with nodular acne it is all hereditary eating less greasy foods and chocolate may help slightly but take it from me it dosent help that much and i get super hungry lmao. but try not to touch your face alot that advice is good
