Lipton Green Tea/Arizona Green Tea.?
29.November, 2008
Do these offer the same health benefits as Green Tea that you make yourself via the packets? Or ones that you buy in a Coffee Shop?
Also, I'm drinking Diet Lipton Green Tea, or Diet Arizona Green Tea, would that have any effect whatsoever?
Oh, I mean the ones that come in 20 oz bottles or Cans.
not sure which you are referring to. If you mean the tea packets you add to water, then those type of tea drinks have instant tea, which is just powdered tea, among other ingredients like flavoring, sweeteners, preservatives, etc.(check the ingredients). The same benefits are probably in instant tea, but it's definitely not as natural as brewing your own tea with either tea bags or fresh tea leaves. It's the processing of instant tea which may decrease the amount of EGCG and antioxidants.
