why is lipton diet green tea citrus flavored drink got aspartame?

it was my favorite drinktill i read it on the bottle thank god i didnt get brain cancer but um i am tryin too loose wieght and be healthy not sick and ill and i wanna know the dangers of aspartame why is it stufff in sodas thats in paint thin
I wouldnt worry about it, you have to take in lots of aspartame to get any bad effects!

You can look up aspartame and find test studies on both sides of the fence.
No, you will not get brain cancer from a drink.
If you choose not to use it in your diet then let it be. Start reading labels and find out what you are eating and drinking.
How did you think this tea was sweet ? There has to be something in it to make it sweet.

I avoid these flavored green tea anyway, because they are not that healthy, aspartame or not.
A study conducted by US Department of Agriculture found that flavored green tea contains one third of catechins (yes, those antioxidants) compared to regular tea.
The healthiest green tea is those made from very young tender tea shoots. You can't find these high grades in any Lipton.
