How Healthy is Lipton Green Tea?
21.December, 2008
I've been drinking this stuff like crazy, on top of water and exercise. I was recently looking at the label, 6 servings per bottle (it's the bigger one) and 21g of surgar per serving. Today I drank 3 bottles, now that I put the math together thats a whole lot of sugar. So how healthy is Lipton and other green tea products you can find in the drink isle? Thanks for any info
Drinking green tea is one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself. But, you're drinking a pre-prepared green tea drink… that's full of sugar.
Sugar's a killer. Try to stay away from it as much a possible.

That's too much sugar. Just start making it yourself at home, and try to drink it without using the sugar. It's better for you, there are no added calories, and these places that process it usually take away the things that make it healthy in the first place-flavanols. Hope this helps!

21g of sugar is a lot.
Try making it yourself just with teabags and no sugar. It's much better for you.
