I won't really recommend using aracha green tea for cupcakes if you want it to taste like matcha. Aracha has a lot more excessive parts of the leaf (such as flowers, buds, and stems) that makes the tea taste a lot more bitter than matcha. If you want the soft and mild taste of matcha, aracha won't be a good replacement. You are better off just using western teas that have a strong aroma, such as earl grey, for sweets if you do not have matcha. References :
