just started taking the green tea fat burner pills and i wanted to know if they had worked for anyone?
08.January, 2009
Please can i get detailed answers only from those that actually took them ONLY please. No ignorant critics here please because thats what i have noticed about this site, people are answering based on opinions and not actual trial, not trying to be being rude but that's the trend i have noticed. Thank you your answers are appreciated.
A friend of a friend took them, and apparently they worked. I think it's different for everyone though, no certainties. Good luck

Is it ok to still drink coffee while taking Green Tea Capsules?
08.January, 2009
Thanks guys.
Depends on how much coffee you drink per day.
There is caffeine in green tea extract capsules, but the recommended upper intake of coffee is 4 cups per day.
So if you're only drinking 1-2 cups of coffee per day with the capsules, it should be fine. If you feel like you're getting jittery or your heart is racing, stop drinking the coffee.

Has anyone used the GoLean Green tea weight loss things?
08.January, 2009
my older sis just bought it online and u mix it with water and it comes in different flavors its supposed to be really popular. does it work?
Now whenever it comes to weight loss you should follow these simple steps that have helped me tremendously lose weight, pretty quickly if you ask me. And I've been trying to lose weight forever and finally found the correct system to help me out…
The first thing you need to do is about 30 minutes of cardio everyday, try to get at least 3-4 days of that people…Exercising is one very important issue you don't want to be lazy in.
The second thing you should realize is that you cannot eat everything in sight that probably got you looking the way you are right now or the reason you want to lose weight. The pounds come with the food you eat. How do you stop yourself from eating and get a little boost with ousting fat from the food you eat? Simple…
The third and final step is the correct natural weight loss supplement. For me, I found Proactol to be the best. Now this isn't aimed towards lazy people that want to take a pill and sit on the couch all night and day. These are to tremendously help out with dieting and exercising. For me they were great because with my diet, they basically take out up to 28% of the fat you intake. Not to mention the killer appetite suppressant Proactol is. Every day you will fall under your calorie intake and find yourself one more day closer to your goal.
These steps really worked for me, you should try them out for yourself even if you want to lose very little or that extra mile. Also at the time of my 3 month supply purchase of Proactol, I saved a lot of money on it at theweightlossplace .com
Good luck and I hope this helps you out for your weight loss goals.

Ok, for the past 2-3 weeks I felt as though I had a cold coming on as my soft palate and throat began to hurt and itch a little. I have been taking vitamin C and Zinc everyday, and have been using some vicks nasal spray which you are supposed to take at the first sign of a cold. On some days I felt as though the cold was eliminated from my system, but on others my nose was blocked or running and my throat hurt or itched a bit.
Last night at around 9:15pm, the area around my soft palate and uvula began to hurt slightly and this quickly escalated to a strong pain, especially when I swallowed. Over the next 3 hours or so, I took VitC and Zinc, that nasal spray, 2 strepsils and a telfast tablet. I also ate a banana, kiwi, orange, and drank some fruit juice to try and help my system. Nothing helped however, and by midnight the pain was strong and felt extreme whenever I swallowed.
At this point, my nose began to run slightly and I used a few tissues (maybe 10-15) over the next 2.5 hours (which is how long it took me to finally get to sleep). During the night, I kept waking up and falling back to sleep, my throat still hurting tons whenever I swallowed. At 6:30, I woke up for the 3rd time, but I had a strong headache in addition to extreme pain when swallowing, so I decided to have breakfast and go on the computer to take my mind off it.
So here I am, forcing down my morning weet-bix, banana, and green tea (with lemon juice and honey), praying that someone will come and help me figure out:
a) what this is
b) what I can do to ease the pain
c) what I should do to help my body recover
For all serious answers, I can't thank you enough, and please help me end this terrible pain.
Also, as I finish writing this, I have noticed that when I press lightly on either side of my adam's apple, I feel a slight pain.
Once again, thanks a million in advance.
It's probably just a cold that's unusually bad.
I wouldn't worry too much, but I'd visit a doctor. I kind of have similar symptoms right now, because I woke up this morning and coughed up phlegm with blood in it, although really it wasn't from my lungs, but from my nasal cavity. Somewhere. I just hacked another small gob up a little while ago. It's probably nothing, although I'd expect to feel like crap for a while.
My current symptoms are soft palate pain (pain swallowing and when talking, although not enough to be debilitating) and some in my throat, not to mention a persistent headache all day.
If you hear about a college student dropping dead from meningitis in the next day or two, then you might need to worry, but it's probably just a cold or something bacterial that's a little worse. I'd see your doctor if it bothers you too much.

I am taking Green Tea Capsules ?
06.January, 2009
I'm taking two a day, and was wondering how will they benefit me? And what are the possible side effects?
Green tea has antioxidants. To sum up, here are just a few medical conditions in which drinking green tea can help prevent:
cancer
rheumatoid arthritis
high cholesterol levels
cariovascular disease
infection
impaired immune function
I don't think there any side effects because my grandma has been drinking tea for over 75 years. Oh and the antioxidants in green tea keeps you looking younger. You age slower.

Highly Sensitive To Green Tea?
06.January, 2009
I drank a half a bottle of Green tea before bed and had so muchhhhhhh TROUBLEEEE SLEEPING lol. Ive found out Im highly sensitive to tea especially since I drink mostly water and natural punches.
Is there any type of DECAF tea that works just as well without the unwanted high?
Thanks:)
First of all why on earth would you drink green tea before going to bed? It makes absolutely no difference if you are sensitive to tea or caffeine or not. You should not consume caffeine within 4 hours of going to bed or you are going to have sleeping problems.
I have heard people being sensitive to caffeine before but never tea. If anything they would be allergic to tea but not sensitive to it. If in fact you are sensitive to caffeine then you still have to be careful with decaf. Depending on how sensitive you are decaf can still set you off as there is still some caffeine in it.
Do you have the same problem with any other drink with caffeine in it? Soda, coffee, energy drinks, hot chocolate? Green tea has 30 mg of caffeine which is less than any of the others. Except Pepsi which has only 25mg per serving
If you want to drink a tea before going to bed try chamomile tea. It has no caffeine in it and helps you to sleep. Otherwise what exactly do you mean by work as well? Exactly were you hoping it would work on since you drink it before going to bed?

this could be serious?
04.January, 2009
I've missed my period last month and still havnt had it this month, i have kind of been bulimc the past month could this be the reason why? i was afraid that i could be pregnant as in august i had unprotected (anal) sex bt took the mornin after pill n had periods until last month, i think i may have been a bit stresed as well due to school. i also take 2-3 high dose green tea capsules to help rev up my metabolism, bt i do eat i dnt starve. could stress and the throwin up be the cuase of a missed period?
when i say "kind of bulimic" i mean its not everyday, maybe once a week if that, bt last month was when it started n i was quite bad, i've tried to stop, bt it happens everynow n then when i get a binge.
First of all, don't go bulimic, it's not good for you.
And you'll pay for it in the near future.
If you've missed your periods, it's usually because you're weak, underweight, or overweight. Some girls cannot control wether or not they are underweight or overweight, so it's not their problem. But in your case, it is. Throwing your food up means more food out and less food in - which is obviously NOT good. This results in less periods, just as underweight girls get less periods. Eat well, and eat more, and you'll be fine! Good luck.

which causes more weight loss - green tea or acai?
04.January, 2009
i've heard that acai and green tea both cause weight loss, but i was wondering which one causes more weight loss. I've been trying to find a weigh loss supliment that will help me lose some weight, but im not sure wether to get green tea, acai, or just combind the two. please help!
the only reason im trying weight loss pills is because i've tried exercising and eating healthier/less for almost a year and i havnt manged to lose any weight so my doctor told me to start taking pills, but i want to take ones made with natural stuff so that's why im choosing green tea or acai.
theres this drink called celsius (im not a spammer lol actually I just bought it a little while ago!) and its a combination of green tea and acai-the flavor is called green tea w rasberry and acai. Its 10 ccals per can and it supposedly burns 100 cal per can. the taste isnt the greatest though, I will admit.♥
edit: also has no sugar!
