Major caffeine addict here. I have a bit of an unhealthy habit where, when I need to focus extra hard, I ingest large amounts of caffeine in one session (within 2-3 hours).. cuz my tolerance is huge now, and only large amounts suffice for the needed "kick." The beverage I use for this, is coffee.

Does anyone else have a similar ritual? If so, what kind of caffeine product/beverage do you use? I'm considering a switch to green tea for the "buzz session" but I'm not sure that it's stimulating enough for my purposes, or if the theanine will be a welcome change.

I've done the energy drink route before, Red Bull and Sobe Adrenaline, now they have these tiny bottles "Nitro shots" of caffeine w/ herbs.. but as I become more health conscious, these products do not look like a good idea.

Matcha… a couple bowls.

    I like to go to the convenience store and get a cold can of starbucks double shot espresso. It works better than red bull and just one for me in the morning is enough. I like green tea and black tea but not as strong as the double shot.
